COVID-19: UAE announces 12 new cases

The UAE has confirmed 12 new cases of COVID-19.

According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), the bulk of these cases were related to those who had come into contact with previously infected patients.

Their nationalities include South African, Australian, Chinese, Lebanese, Filipino, British, Italian, Iranian and Emirati, while three are Indians.

All 12 individuals are in stable health condition and receiving proper medication.

This brings the total number of diagnosed cases in the UAE to 98, of which 75 are active, while 23 people have recovered.
