The UAE has carried out more than 125,000 tests for COVID-19 so far.

That’s according to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), which says the country has the highest testing coverage in the world.

Almost 13,000 people out of every one million have been screened in the Emirates as part of efforts to limit the spread of the virus.

The UAE has an effective monitoring mechanism in place, and authorities are closely following the latest global developments in order to take appropriate measures.
