Dubai Municipality has closed a shisha cafe at International City for failing to comply with the pandemic precautionary measures in the latest round of checks.
A gym in Al Barsha South and a laundry in Nayef were also ordered to shut.
A total of 2,253 inspections were carried out on Monday.
One violation was issued in addition to 27 warnings.
Inspectors found 2,222 establishments were fully compliant.
