COVID-19: 777 new cases in UAE; no deaths

The UAE has confirmed 777 new cases of COVID-19, taking the overall tally in the country to 80,266.

According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), as many as 61,084 additional tests have been carried out across the Emirates.

Meanwhile, the number of recoveries has gone up to 69,981 after another 530 people received the all-clear.

The death toll remains 399 as no new fatalities have been reported.

This means that there are currently 9,886 active cases in the country.
