At least 26 people killed in Yemen by cyclones

At least 26 people have been killed and thousands affected by two rare cyclones that have hit Yemen a week apart. Tropical storms Chapala and Megh hit the island of Socotra as well as the southeastern provinces on the mainland. More than 6400 families have been affected, while another 1500 families have now been displaced after their homes were damaged. According to National News Agency WAM, Emirates Red Crescent has sent 30 tonnes of emergency relief items to Socotra.
