Arab nations condemn Iranian attack on ADNOC tankers

Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Jordan have strongly condemned Iran for targeting ADNOC tankers on the Strait of Hormuz.

The foreign ministries of the four nations issued statements calling for de-escalation, respect for freedom of navigation, and the full reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.

The countries also outlined that the continued closure of the strait undermines the critical interests of the region's countries and the global economy.

They also reaffirmed solidarity with the UAE and extended support for all measures it takes to protect its security and sovereignty.

ADNOC confirmed the attack on its vessels, with no injuries reported.

This is the second attack involving ADNOC vessels in less than a week. On Saturday, the Iran targeted an ADNOC vessel as it passed through the Strait.
