Brigadier Asiri said that 70% of the country has now been liberated and coalition forces are advancing towards their targets to secure the security and stability of the country. He added that the coalition forces are continuing to support the forces of the legitimate government in Taez, and that the stage is set for victory in Yemen's third largest city soon. LIBERATION OF MARIB The leaders of the UAE enabled the liberation of Yemen’s central province of Marib, by providing a political and military umbrella for the operation, according to Staff Brigadier Musallam Al Rashidi, Commander of Force to Liberate Marib. The commander said victory in Marib, which lies close to the Yemeni capital and the Saudi border, comes at a crucial stage in the Arab Coalition's operations. He added that it will be followed by further successes, which will eventually lead to the complete liberation of Yemen. Speaking as the first batch of UAE Armed Forces returned home to a hero’s welcome, he praised their professionalism and focus in helping return normalcy to the people of Yemen.
