Aldar has launched an AED 8 billion housing project which will be built in the north-east of Yas Island, in the UAE's capital.
The Balghaiylam residential scheme, being developed in association with Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, is expected to be completed by 2026 and will comprise 1,743 units available to citizens who have received housing loans from the Authority.
The development will include schools, mosques, retail and F&B outlets, sports facilities, an equestrian centre, and parks and playgrounds.
The project was inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.
