Large buses transporting workers are now restricted from entering Abu Dhabi Island during peak hours.

The ban, which came into effect today, applies to workers' buses with a capacity of at least 50 passengers.

These vehicles are not allowed to use Sheikh Zayed Bridge, Sheikh Khalifa Bridge, Mussafah Bridge and Al Maqtaa Bridge during morning rush hour (6:30 am to 9:00 am).

Meanwhile, access to Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Street is prohibited during morning as well as evening rush hours (3:00 pm to 7:00 pm).

Captain Murshed Ali Al Marar from the Traffic & Patrols Directorate at Abu Dhabi Police shared the details with ARN News.
