Abu Dhabi announces unified fares for public buses

The base fare for all public buses in the UAE capital has been standardized at AED 2, Abu Dhabi's Integrated Transport Centre announced on Tuesday.

In a statement on this official social media channels, the agency said an additional fee of 5 fils will be charged per km to the base fare, with the cost of a single trip capped at AED5.

It's part of efforts of the Abu Dhabi government to promote the use of public transport in the community.
