Abu Dhabi announces partial road closures

A key bridge and a major highway in Abu Dhabi will be partially closed over the weekend.

According to the Integrated Transport Centre, it's the Maqta Bridge that will be affected.

Two of its right lanes will be closed in both directions from 11:00 pm on Friday, September 9 until 5:00 am on Monday, September 12.

The ITC also added that the rightmost lane on the Abu Dhabi-Al Ain Road (E22) in the direction towards Abu Dhabi, alongside Al Ghanadeer Street, will be closed from 3:00 pm on Friday, September 9 until 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 11.

Motorists are advised to drive with caution and follow the traffic signs in the area.
