His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, has met with Rubén Ramírez Lezcano, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Paraguay, on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 79) in New York.
During the meeting, several topics on the agenda of the UNGA 79 were discussed, alongside bilateral cooperation in various fields, including economics, investment, and renewable energy.
The discussions also addressed the importance of joint cooperation within international organisations and its role in advancing global sustainable development goals.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah reaffirmed the UAE's commitment to strengthening cooperation with the Republic of Paraguay and building a distinguished partnership that supports mutual interests and development objectives.
The meeting was attended by Gustavo Villate, Minister for Information and Communications Technology of Paraguay, and Ambassador Mohamed Abushahab, Permanent Representative of the UAE to the UN.
