Sheikh Abdullah, Dutch FM discuss Gaza humanitarian crisis

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, has discussed the evolving situation in the Middle East and the urgent need to amplify humanitarian efforts for the affected civilians in Gaza in a phone call with Hanke Bruins Slot, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands.

During their conversation, the two top diplomats delved into regional and international initiatives aimed at de-escalating tensions, restoring calm, and safeguarding the lives of all civilians amidst the ongoing crisis.

They emphasised on the paramount importance of ensuring the unimpeded and sustainable delivery of humanitarian aid and medical supplies to civilians.

Sheikh Abdullah underscored the importance of bolstering regional and international cooperation in eradicating extremism, easing tensions, and curbing the rising tide of violence in the region.

He reaffirmed the UAE's unwavering commitment to providing comprehensive and sustainable humanitarian support to the people of Gaza at all levels.
