The UAE has confirmed 721 new cases of COVID-19 from 224,482 tests in the past 24 hours.
Another 631 people have recovered, taking the overall tally to 985,429.
One patient has died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 2,340.
A total of 1,007,039 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 19,270 are currently active.
