Sharjah Municipality has deployed 65 community service patrols to minimise damage caused by torrential rain in the Emirate.
Teams are working round-the-clock to survey the area and help affected families in reaching authorised shelters.
They are also assisting stranded individuals in waterlogged areas, clearing obstructed vehicles, and providing support to vulnerable groups such as the elderly and others in need within the community.
The authority said this is in addition to the primary tasks such as extracting water and mitigating the weather's impacts.
Teams continue to work at full capacity and transportation fleets are on hand to minimise any damage, ensure smooth traffic flow, and safeguard public safety and property.
