5 ‘Smart Malls’ to be installed at Dubai Metro stations

Dubai commuters can now go virtual shopping at Metro stations in the emirate. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has launched smart malls, which will offer over 300 products consumers can choose from and order online. The director of rail operations at the RTA, Mohammed Al Mudharreb explains how the kiosks work.

One smart mall is up and running at the Mall of the Emirates station, with four more to be installed at the Baniyas, Damac, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank and Dubai Internet City stations.
