2,234 new COVID-19 cases in UAE

The UAE has confirmed 2,234 new cases of COVID-19 from 448,050 tests in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) another 775 people have recovered, taking the overall tally to 743,340.

The Ministry added that no COVID-19-related deaths have been recorded in the past 24 hours, with the total number of deaths in the country remaining at 2,160.

A total of 757,145 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 11,645 are currently active.
