2 men get 6-month jail terms for illegally fitting emergency lights on car

Abu Dhabi Criminal Court has sentenced two men to six months in jail for illegally fitting their vehicle with emergency lights to trick the public.

One of the defendants was also handed a fine of AED 100,000, the authority said, adding that the vehicle was confiscated. 

The first defendant was convicted of driving the vehicle, while the second was arrested for helping set up the emergency lights.
