Twelve candidates have withdrawn their applications from the upcoming Federal National Council (FNC) election. They include seven from Abu Dhabi, one from Ras Al Khaimah and two each from Dubai and Fujairah. The emirates of Sharjah, Ajman and Umm Al Quwain have not reported any withdrawals. A total of 329 candidates are now in the running for the polls scheduled for October 3.
