1,009 new COVID-19 cases in UAE

The UAE has confirmed 1,009 new cases of COVID-19 from 235,936 tests in the past 24 hours.

Another 989 people have recovered, taking the overall tally to 973,711.

The total number of fatalities remains at 2,335 as no further deaths have been reported.

A total of 994,693 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 18,647 are currently active.
