Yemen's Saudi-led coalition has announced on Sunday that authorities were responding to a fire that broke out at Terminal 4 of King Khaled International Airport in Riyadh after being targeted by an "unidentified projectile", according to the Saudi Press Agency.

In a post from the news agency on social media platform X, the coalition added that authorities are responding

The coalition also noted that air defence systems intercepted and destroyed cruise missiles launched in the vicinity of King Khalid International Airport.

The statement came a day after an attack on the airport killed at least 12 people and wounded more than 300 others.
