The Arab Parliament has welcomed the signing of the Gaza Ceasefire Agreement at the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit, calling it a historic step towards ending the two-year war and bringing peace to the region.
Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Yammahi, President of the Arab Parliament, described the summit as a renewed source of hope for ending the tragedy of Gaza,
He affirmed that the agreement will "achieve peace, alleviate the suffering of the Palestinians, and close a painful chapter in the history of humanity".
In a statement, Al Yammahi also stressed that the summit marks a turning point in international efforts to end the war in Gaza and serves as a living model of Arab and international cooperation aimed at achieving peace and stability in the region.
