Superstar DJs Armin van Buuren and Dimitri Vegas are among the big names who will be headlining Expo 2020 Dubai's New Year's Eve celebrations.
A count-down to ball drop at midnight in Al Wasl Plaza and two firework displays- one at midnight and the other at 3am, have also been lined up as part of the grand festivities on December 31 and January 1.
The celebrations will start at 3:00 pm and run all the way until 4:00 am, acknowledging the different time zones of countries participating in the Expo.
