Taylor Swift announces concert film

Taylor Swift celebrated her 26th birthday with the announcement of her concert film. The singer turned 26 on Sunday (13.12.15) and took to Twitter to reveal the forthcoming release of the '1989' World Tour LIVE concert film on Apple Music. She tweeted: "Thank you so much for all the birthday wishes. I have a little surprise for you.#1989WorldTourLIVE @applemusic (sic)." And Taylor also included a clip of the film in which she explained her dreams for the tour. She said: "Getting ready for this, I wondered about a lot of things. I wondered what it would be like to perform for 70,000 people. I wondered what it would look like if they were all lit up and just dancing around like no one was watching them." Referring to her many celebrity guests on the tour, she said: "I wondered what would happen if I invited the most amazing artists in the world to come out with me and perform with me on my stage. Would they do it?" The film has been directed by Jonas Akerlund and will be released on December 20. Meanwhile, Taylor recently spoke about the tour, calling it a "huge chapter" in her life. She said: "'1989' was such a huge chapter in my life and career, and it's an exciting thought to let the story write itself now for a while. "The most challenging part of the year was being on-point for every show of a huge stadium tour. There was a lot to remember and balance with all the surprise guest performances, but it was worth it. I feel like we created memories I'll cherish for the rest of my life."
