Listening to the Star Wars' soundtrack makes surgeons more likely to spot bowel cancer. That’s according to a study by Austin Hospital in Melbourne, Australia, who studied the effect of music, on doctors performing endoscopies. During the procedure doctors insert a camera into the colon to detect polyps or adenomas- both signs of cancer. Researchers found that surgeons listening to the Star Wars soundtrack had a detection rate of 60%, compared to 35% for those listening to pop music.
