Eva Longoria celebrates engagement

Eva Longoria celebrated her engagement with a $10,000 dinner. The 40-year-old actress and new fiance Jose Antonio Baston were joined by 20 friends at upscale restaurant Sass Cafe Dubai on Monday (14.12.15), where they enjoyed Mediterranean dishes including linguine with freshly-shaved black truffle and drank Cristal and Laurent Perrier Rose champagne. Photographer Jimmy Deparis, who was at the restaurant, told 'Entertainment Tonight': "Eva seemed very happy and excited, she was taking photos and dancing. Jose looked really happy too and really proud." The eatery shared a picture of the group on their Instagram page, writing alongside it: "Congratulations to @evalongoria celebrating her engagement at @sasscafedubai tonight." Eva revealed on Instagram on Sunday (13.12.15) that she and the 47-year-old TV president had got engaged after two years of dating. Sharing a picture of them kissing, Eva - whose new engagement ring could clearly be seen - wrote: "Ummmm so this happened....#Engaged #Dubai #Happiness (sic)." The proposal comes as a surprise, since Eva had ruled out walking down the aisle for a third time, saying last year: "Marriage and kids are not on the horizon." She split from French basketball player Tony Parker to whom she was married for four years in 2011 and before that when she eloped with actor Christopher Tyler in 2002, before the marriage broke up in 2004. However, Eva has admitted that Jose makes her happier than ever before. She said: "I'm truly in love, mostly... every moment we get to spend together is a blessing. "People want a secret to looking good, but there isn't one. I'm in love, that has a lot to do with it. I take good care of myself, it's no secret, I eat a healthy diet and I exercise..."
