Etihad Park rebrands as Etihad Live ahead of major revamp

Etihad Park has officially been renamed Etihad Live, marking a new chapter for one of the region’s leading live entertainment venues.

The rebrand reflects the venue’s evolution from a major outdoor event space into a broader entertainment platform for Abu Dhabi.

Owned by Ethara, Etihad Live is part of a long-term strategy to enhance visitor experiences, expand venue capabilities and attract even more large-scale international productions to the emirate.

Since opening in 2009, the flexible 42,000-capacity venue has hosted some of the world’s biggest artists, including Madonna, Coldplay, Rihanna, Eminem, The Rolling Stones, and The Weeknd.

It’s also home to the Yasalam After-Race Concerts, held alongside the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Ethara says the venue will undergo a multi-million-dirham redevelopment in 2027, with upgrades planned for infrastructure, hospitality, crowd flow, and premium viewing areas.

The announcement follows another strong year for the venue, with Yasalam’s 2025 concert series attracting more than 136,000 fans.

Looking ahead, Etihad Live is set to host major events including the Offlimits Festival, featuring Shakira and the Jonas Brothers, as well as Abu Dhabi Grand Prix after-race performances from Lewis Capaldi, Zara Larsson, and Imagine Dragons.

Located on Yas Island, just ten minutes from Zayed International Airport and less than an hour from Dubai, Etihad Live aims to further strengthen Abu Dhabi’s position as a global destination for live entertainment.
