Chrissy Teigen and John Legend welcome baby girl

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have welcomed a baby girl. The 30-year-old model and her singer husband, 37, are overjoyed after Luna Simone Stephens was born on Thursday (14.04.16) and took to social media on Sunday (17.04.16) to share the happy news. Chrissy wrote: "She's here! Luna Simone Stephens, we are so in love with you! And sleepy. Very sleepy." And John added: "Our new love is here! Luna Simone Stephens, born on Thursday, the 14th. We couldn't be happier!" The tot weighed 6lbs 11oz, according to Chrissy's Instagram post. Chrissy previously revealed she chose a female embryo while undergoing fertility treatment. She said: "I've made this decision. Not only am I having a girl, but I picked the girl from her little embryo. I picked her and was like, 'Let's put in the girl.' "I think I was most excited and allured by the fact that John would be the best father to a little girl. That excited me," she explains. "It excited me to see ... just the thought of seeing him with a little girl. I think he deserves a little girl. I think he deserves that bond." And Chrissy is also planning to give her daughter a younger brother one day too. She added: "A boy will come along. We'll get there too, so it's not like we really have to pick. " But he definitely is very lucky to have a little girl. And this girl is going to be so completely lucky to have John as her papa - it's crazy!"
