Brad Pitt to miss Voyage of Time premiere

Brad Pitt will miss the premiere of his new film to "focus on his family situation". The 52-year-old actor has confirmed he won't be attending the premiere of 'Voyage of Time' for fear his divorce from Angelina Jolie would "distract attention away from the extraordinary film". He said in a statement: "Terrence's Voyage of Time is an incredibly beautiful and unique experiential IMAX film for children and families chronicling the birth of time. "I'm very grateful to be part of such a fascinating and educational project, but I'm currently focused on my family situation and don't want to distract attention away from this extraordinary film, which I encourage everyone to see." Meanwhile, it was previously claimed that Brad and Angelina - who have Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, eight, together - tried all they could to make their marriage work. A source said: "Every married couple has its own dynamics. Fame adds an additional complication but they are going through what many families face. It's a difficult time ... It has been a very difficult time. It's been a very hard decision to make, but ultimately they both did the best they could to make the relationship work. Both sides are hurting very deeply right now. "They were always very deeply in love, very passionate, very intense and very romantic. They were never shy about showing their emotions and love for one another in front of people, they knew that their bond was something special. They were a good partnership created from two very different personalities but they were bound together by this deep love. They had a joint mutual outlook on life and the strength of their family unit was at the centre of it."
