Italian music legend Maestro Andrea Bocelli will perform at the first Yasalam Classics concert series that aims to add a touch of classical music to the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2026 race week.

He will take to the stage at Etihad Arena in Yas Island on December 2 to celebrate the ‘Romanza 30th Anniversary World Tour’. It will mark the release of the album in 1997, which is considered the best-selling Italian-language album and the best-selling predominantly non-English language album of all time.

Having sold more than 90 million records worldwide, Bocelli has captivated audiences worldwide for over three decades with his beloved classical crossover works including Con te partirò (Time to Say Goodbye), Canto della Terra and Ave Maria.

He will be accompanied by the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, celebrated for its luminous sound and expressive performances.

The Italian artist was recently spotted at the 2026 World Cup opening ceremony in Mexico, where he performed with K-pop Demon Hunter’s EJAE.

The series, produced by Ethara in partnership with Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture and Tourism and Miral, adds to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix’s entertainment programme, which includes the After-Race Concerts and Official After-Parties.

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix ticket holders will get an exclusive 24-hour pre-sale access before tickets go on general sale on Wednesday, June 17, at 1:00 pm, at ticketmaster and Etihad arena’s official websites.
