UAE museums offer free entry this weekend

Museums across the UAE are offering guests no entry fee this weekend to mark International Museum Day, celebrated every year on May 18.

Residents in Abu Dhabi can enjoy free entry at The Louvre, Zayed National Museum, and the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi from May 16 to May 18.

As for Dubai, Expo City offered free access to the Vision and Expo 2020 Dubai Museum, alongside a special discount on the Terra exhibit during the same dates. 

Meanwhile, several museums in Sharjah are offering a free visit on May 18, including:

  • Sharjah Science Museum
  • Sharjah Aquarium
  • Sharjah Archaeological Museum
  • Bait Al Naboodah
  • Sharjah Fort (Al Hisn)
  • Sharjah Maritime Museum
  • Sharjah Heritage Museum

Visitors are encouraged to book their slots online at the museums' official website before they sell out.
