After entering into the food delivery business, the Uber is set to launch speed boat services in the Indian city of Mumbai on February 1.
The on-demand service, which is being launched in partnership with Maharashtra Maritime Board, will provide transportation via speedboats from three of the city’s popular coastal routes, namely Gateway of India, Elephanta Islands and Mandwa Jetty.
There are two options available - UberBOAT (6-8 seater speed boat) and (10+ seater speed boat), with costs between INR 5,700 (around AED 294) and INR 9,500 (AED 491).
