The UAE is looking to strengthen trade and investment ties with Canada following a visit to Toronto by Minister of Foreign Trade Dr Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi.
Leading a government and business delegation, Al Zeyoudi co-chaired a UAE-Canada business roundtable with Canada's Minister of International Trade, Maninder Sidhu, bringing together senior business leaders to explore opportunities in clean energy, technology, financial services, manufacturing and agri-food.
The visit follows the successful conclusion of negotiations on a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), as the two countries seek to expand commercial cooperation and investment.
