Parkin and Bahrain's Amakin team up on smarter parking solutions

Dubai’s Parkin is teaming up with Bahrain Car Parks Company (Amakin) to explore smarter and more connected parking services across the GCC.

The two companies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding covering parking technology, digital mobility services and potential regional business opportunities.

The partnership could see their digital platforms connected, allowing customers to access and pay for parking across both networks through their mobile apps.

The companies will also explore using mobility data to improve parking services and identify new solutions.

Parkin and Amakin say the collaboration aims to make parking more convenient for customers, while improving operational efficiency and supporting the development of smarter mobility services across the region.

The agreement also provides a framework for the two companies to explore joint business opportunities in the GCC and selected international markets.
