Meraas, part of Dubai Holding Real Estate, has awarded a contract worth nearly AED 1 billion to GCC Contracting to build 272 villas and townhouses in Phase 7 of Nad Al Sheba Gardens.
The project will include 130 villas, ranging from four to seven bedrooms, along with 142 three-bedroom townhouses.
The development will also feature pool houses, utilities and supporting infrastructure.
Construction is already underway, with completion expected in the second quarter of 2028.
Khalid Al Malik, CEO of Dubai Holding Real Estate, said the expansion reflects strong confidence in Dubai's real estate sector and reinforces the emirate's appeal as a global destination to live, work and invest.
He added that Meraas remains focused on delivering modern, sustainable communities that offer long-term value for residents and investors.
Nad Al Sheba Gardens features a range of lifestyle amenities, including walking, running and cycling tracks, sports facilities, swimming pools, children's play areas and dedicated wellness spaces.
Residents also have access to retail and dining outlets through Nad Al Sheba Gardens Mall.
