H.H. Sheikh Hamdan reviews Dubai Customs’ efforts to ensure smooth trade flow

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, has reviewed Dubai Customs' efforts to maintain smooth trade and supply chain operations amid global geopolitical developments.

During a meeting with Dubai Customs' Director General Dr. Abdulla Busenad, Sheikh Hamdan was briefed on cargo movement, operational performance and measures designed to support businesses and ensure the continued flow of goods.

Officials highlighted Dubai Customs’ proactive system for monitoring regional and international trade developments and responding quickly to any disruptions.

Among the key initiatives discussed was the 'Green Corridor' project launched with Oman within 72 hours to help speed up customs procedures and strengthen regional supply chains.

Sheikh Hamdan stressed the importance of developing flexible and proactive solutions that reinforce Dubai’s position as a resilient global trade and economic hub.

Dubai Customs also reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with partners and businesses to ensure market stability and maintain confidence in the emirate’s trade sector.
