Emirates has doubled the number of cities it offers connectivity to, beyond its own network, to nearly 1,700 additional cities.
The ongoing expansion has enabled more than 61,000 passengers a week to connect on Emirates’ and its partners’ networks.
The airline has 162 partnerships in more than 100 countries, including 31 codeshare partnerships, 118 interline partnerships, and 13 multimodal transport partnerships, allowing customers of partner airlines traveling with Emirates to reach destinations on Emirates’ network of more than 140 destinations and connect at Dubai International Airport.
Last year Emirates launched 16 new partnerships, including codeshare agreements with Avianca and Batik Air Malaysia and completed interline partnerships with Kam Air, SriLankan Airlines, Condor, Flynas, Viva Aerobus, SunExpress, Maldivian Airlines, Siberian Airlines and Kenya Airways.
