Leading retailers in Dubai have met with government departments to discuss the effects on the market of recent developments including COVID-19.
Dubai Tourism and Dubai Economy held the meeting to bolster support of the sector and promote the importance of public-private partnership.
They talked about recent challenges arising from the global outbreak of COVID-19 and worldwide efforts to contain its spread and international trade repercussions.
Representatives of organisations including Nakheel Malls, Majid Al Futtaim and Gulf Marketing Group said they were pleased to work closely with Dubai Tourism and Dubai Economy in maintaining a good environment for business.
