Dubai Chambers will host the Dubai Business Forum – China in Shenzhen on October 14, bringing together government officials, business leaders and investors from the two markets.

The event will focus on opportunities to expand trade and investment between Dubai and China, as well as helping Chinese companies establish and grow their operations in the emirate.

Dubai Chambers says Chinese technology companies are increasingly using Dubai as a base to expand into markets across the Middle East and beyond.

Among them is flying-car company ARIDGE, formerly XPENG AEROHT, which has secured agreements for 600 vehicles from partners across the Middle East after selecting Dubai as a base for its international expansion.

Chinese drone delivery company Keeta Drone is also expanding in Dubai, while payments company PingPong is using the emirate to support growing trade flows between China, the Middle East and Africa.

The forum will be held under the theme ‘Momentum at Scale: Accelerating Shared Success’.
