Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) has been awarded the Global Free Zone of the Year 2020 by Financial Times’ fDi Magazine for a record sixth consecutive year.

DMCC also received the award for Middle East Free Zone of The Year.

As many as 100 free zones were in the fray, including a high concentration of peers in the Middle East region.

Candidates were assessed for a range of criteria including growth rate, services, products and facilities available as well as the launch of new key initiatives supporting companies in the free zone.

The awards were judged by the Financial Times’ specialist editorial team and a panel of independent judges for each region.

In celebration of the award, DMCC has announced it will extend its Business Support Package for existing and new members until December 31, 2020.

As the largest commercial package ever released by DMCC, it offers a range of discounts to support businesses, reduce cost and safeguard operations against the impact of COVID-19.

DMCC is also set to announce further incentives in due course.
