The Students’ Karting Cup has launched today at Al Ain Raceway hoping to find the next Lewis Hamilton. The Students Cup introduced by ProDrive Sports Services, is looking to provide a platform for the UAE’s next generation of karting heroes. UAE based motor sports fans of all nationalities between 12 to 19 years old can register for junior and senior categories, that will take place over four weekends in January and February next year. Many Formula 1 stars began their careers in go-karting including Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher. He added: “The UAE is now home to an increasingly diverse calendar of world-class motorsport events and we want to see homegrown talents fighting it out on the international stage, both domestically and internationally."
