The UAE finished top of Group B at the Arabian Gulf Cup after drawing 1-1 with Qatar in Jeddah.
Almoez Ali gave Qatar the lead in the 33rd minute, but Ali Saleh equalised for the UAE deep into first-half stoppage time.
Both sides pushed for a winner after the break, but neither could find a breakthrough as the game ended 1-1.
The result leaves both teams on seven points, with the UAE advancing on goal difference.
The Whites will now face Oman in the semi-finals on Saturday, while Qatar take on hosts Saudi Arabia.
