The UAE Football Association has submitted an official bid to host the 2031 Asian Cup.
In a statement the President of the UAE Football Association, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, said the UAE is “capable of organising major continental and international sporting event in the best possible way due to the strength of its infrastructure and the availability of all the reasons for success."
He said the Asian and international sports family is well aware of the UAE’s human and material capabilities represented by facilities, stadiums, hotels, transportation and communications, in addition to the prosperity of the UAE economy and the presence of more than 200 different nationalities living in the country in security and peace.
"Therefore, we are confident that we are able to make the 2031 Asian edition dazzling and distinctive in all its details," Sheikh Hamdan added.
