UAE ACTVET team wins 10 medals at WorldSkills Lyon 2024

The UAE ACTVET team has secured 10 medals capping an impressive performance at the WorldSkills Lyon 2024. The results places the UAE first in the Middle East and Africa, and ninth globally.

Competing against over 1,300 participants from 66 countries, the UAE team won one silver and one bronze medal, along with eight Medallions for Excellence.

The accolades recognised skills in areas such as health and social care, mechanical engineering drawing, aircraft maintenance, automotive technology, and autonomous robotics. 

This success highlights the high caliber of vocational and technical skills among emirati youth and indicates the UAE’s commitment to advancing youth skills development.
