Tamim helps Bangladesh clinch series against Zimbabwe

Bangladesh have sealed the three-match One-Day International series against Zimbabwe with a game to spare.

The hosts won the second match in Sylhet by four runs to take a 2-1 lead in the contest.

Opener Tamim Iqbal’s career-best 158 and Mushfiqur Rahim's 55 helped Bangladesh score 322-8 in 50 overs.

In reply, Zimbabwe were restricted to 318-8, thanks to left-arm spinner Taijul Islam's 3-52.

All-rounder Sikandar Raza top-scored for the visitors with 66 off 57 balls while Tinashe Kamunhukamwe (51), teenager Wesley Madhevere (52), and Donald Tiripano (55 not out) all made maiden half-centuries.
