Tadej Pogačar continued his dominant 2026 spring campaign by winning Liège–Bastogne–Liège on Sunday, securing his fourth title in one of cycling’s most prestigious one-day races.

The UAE Team Emirates XRG rider launched his decisive attack on the Côte de La Redoute before going clear with 19-year-old French talent Paul Seixas. Pogačar later dropped Seixas on the Côte de la Roche-aux-Faucons to ride solo to victory and claim a third consecutive win in the Belgian Monument.

The result marks his fourth career win at Liège–Bastogne–Liège and adds to an extraordinary season that has already seen him win both Milan–San Remo and Tour of Flanders earlier this spring. He also finished runner-up at Paris–Roubaix behind Wout van Aert.

That gives Pogačar three Monument victories in the 2026 season alone, underlining his status as the standout rider of the year so far.

One of the day’s major talking points was the performance of Paul Seixas, who briefly matched Pogačar’s attack and pushed the world champion deep into the final stages before fading on the decisive climb.

The victory further strengthens Pogačar’s legacy as one of the sport’s leading modern riders and caps another remarkable spring Classics campaign.
