Reigning Masters champion Jon Rahm will return to Jumeirah Golf Estates to defend his DP World Tour Championship title from November 16-19.

The World Number Three will be aiming to create more history in Dubai at the fifth and final Rolex Series event of the DP World Tour season, as the double Major Champion chases a record fourth DP World Tour Championship crown.

The Spaniard etched his name into the history books when he saw off Ryder Cup team-mates Tyrrell Hatton, Alex Noren and Rory McIlroy to win by two shots last year on the Earth Course, becoming the first player to win five Rolex Series titles with a record third victory at the DP World Tour Championship.

The 28-year-old carried on his momentum from Dubai into 2023, winning three PGA TOUR titles in five starts before triumphing at Augusta National in April to add a second Major Championship to his collection, after becoming the first Spaniard to win the U.S. Open in 2021.

The ten-time DP World Tour winner also finished tied second at the 151st Open Championship and will be a key member of Luke Donald’s European Team ahead of the 2023 Ryder Cup in Rome this September.

"It’s no surprise I love coming back to Dubai and to this golf course for the DP World Tour Championship. To win here three times, it means a lot to me, and it’s always an honour to defend any title you have put your name to," Rahm said.

"It’s going to be a fantastic week. The vibe in Dubai is great, the field is world class, and the fans get behind the players, so I am looking forward to the challenge and hopefully, I can give them something to cheer about come Sunday afternoon."

Celebrating 15 years, the world-class sporting and social event promises to deliver unparalleled excitement and entertainment showcasing 'The Greatest Players on Earth' as the top 50 golfers available on the DP World Tour tee it up at the prestigious Earth Course in Dubai.

Fans can once again witness the drama unfold as the Race to Dubai Presented by Rolex reaches a dramatic conclusion in the United Arab Emirates and Europe’s Number One is crowned.

Following record weekend crowds last year, free general admission tickets are now available at dpwtc.com, with a range of early bird hospitality options to suit every golf fan at the Earth Lounge and Championship Chalet selling fast.

The DP World Tour Championship offers a fantastic day out for all, combining world-class golf with an array of exciting activities and experiences. The vibrant village ensures an incredible atmosphere, featuring dedicated activations for children, free golf lessons for all ages, Ladies Day celebrations, trick-shot shows, large screens for enhanced viewing, and engaging sports activations.
