Pakistan beat Afghanistan by 66 runs in the third Twenty20 International in Sharjah to avoid a clean sweep in the series.

Chasing a challenging score of 182 for 7, Afghanistan were dismissed for 116 with eight balls remaining.

Pakistan's stand-in skipper Shadab Khan (3-13) and young fast bowler Ihsanullah (3-29) shared six wickets.

Shadab became the first Pakistan men's player to reach 100 wickets in T20Is.

He was also declared player of the match for an all-round performance that saw him smash a 17-ball 28.

Afghanistan had already bagged the series with two victories in as many matches.

It's their first series victory against Pakistan in any format.
