Messi denies tax evasion in Panama papers scandal

The family of Lionel Messi has denied Spanish reports that he was involved in a tax evasion scheme. This comes after his name was included in the leaked documents owned by a Panamanian law firm, which set up offshore companies for rich and powerful clients. The Barcelona forward and his father have been accused of setting up a tax fraud network, which his family said was false. They’ve threatened legal action against sources that published the claims.
