Leicester City has returned to the summit of the Premier League with a 2-1 win over defending champions Chelsea. Claudio Ranieri’s men reclaimed top spot, thanks to goals from Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez. Substitute Loic Remy gave Chelsea hope with a close-range headed goal 13 minutes from time, but the hosts held on to leave the Blues in 16th place- one point above the relegation zone. Chelsea's problems were compounded after Belgium forward Eden Hazard hobbled off with an apparent hip problem after a challenge from Vardy. Leicester City are now on 35 points, two clear of second-placed Arsenal.
